Hi there! As a 25-year-old travel enthusiast from Madison, Wisconsin, I have been exploring the world since I could barely walk.
My journey with cruising, in particular, began on a magical note, aboard the Disney Magic when I was just eight years old.
That experience ignited a passion within me that has only grown stronger with time. In 2020, when a planned study abroad program in London was unexpectedly canceled due to COVID, I turned my longstanding dream into reality by starting Ellie’s Travel Tips.
My Travel Philosophy
Traveling, to me, is more than just visiting new places; it’s about discovering new ways of seeing the world and ourselves.
Having ventured to nearly every country in the Western Hemisphere, I’m on a mission to tackle the rest of the globe.
My most memorable adventure to date was a 30-day cruise from Miami, through the majestic Panama Canal, and around the breathtaking tip of South America.
It’s experiences like these that I aim to share with you—curated, no-nonsense travel tips to guide your next adventure.
Why I Do What I Do
Ellie’s Travel Tips was born out of a desire to fill the gap I saw in travel content: the need for personalized, practical advice that caters to the diverse needs of travelers.
Whether you’re a seasoned explorer or just starting out, my goal is to help you find your passion for travel. I specialize in cruise travel tips, but my curiosity doesn’t stop there.
From general travel advice to curated lists of recommendations, I explore all facets of traveling to ensure there are options for everyone, at every destination, and every mode of travel.
